Muriel’s Breath of Life Eighth Annual Picnic

Muriel’s Breath of Life Picnic was held on August 26th, 2018 at the Lodge in North Park.  We were again blessed with the key ingredient for a successful picnic– tremendous weather.  This combined with the wonderful musical performance by Swingtet 8, fabulous food prepared by Paul and the rest of the Lagnese family, great silent and Chinese auction items and wonderful guests, made for another memorable and successful event.  The picnic was not only a great social event it was a great financial success.  More than $35,000 was raised so that MBOL can continue to support patients with CF who are in need. Thanks to all of our family and friends who attended the picnic, some having attended all 8 picnics since 2010.  Please recognize the sponsors listed below who are so important to the financial success of the picnic. I would also like to recognize the many individuals who are unable to attend the picnic but who generously make financial donations or donate auction items. We were fortunate have Dr. Joe Pilewski and members of the CF clinic team join us in our celebration and remembrance of Muriel.  It is a privilege for MBOL to work with the clinic staff as they work so hard to meet the medical and social needs of the patients. Joe was kind enough to share his thoughts regarding the impact and importance of the fund for his patients.  The money raised will be used to support the patients in the clinic and also to continue to build the endowment.
