MBOL Sports Night at Wildwood Golf Club

On October 19, 2018 Wildwood Golf Club hosted a Sports Night to benefit Muriel’s Breath of Life. The night was a blast from start to finish. We were honored to have Chris Mueller from 93.7 The Fan as Emcee and Steve Blass as the sports celebrity. There were alcohol tasting stations with accompanying hors d’oeuvres, a sit down dinner, silent auction, live auction, cigar bar, wine raffle and 50/50 raffle.  There was strong support from the members of Wildwood who not only attended the event but generously supported the auction and raffles.  We were also fortunate to have Dr. Greg Burg and a number of medical providers who care for the patients with Cystic Fibrosis attend the event.  It is always great to have an opportunity to connect with the care team.  Thanks to Wildwood Golf Club and all of those who donated items for the auctions. A special thanks to Chris Mueller and Steve Blass who made the night a memorable experience.  Chris did a great job as Emcee. He clearly understands what MBOL is all about and communicated that very effectively. Steve Blass was tremendously entertaining and was the hit of the night. Interestingly he has had personal experience with CF as he has a family member who has battled the disease.  Finally I would like to recognize Diane and Mark Minnaugh who worked tirelessly and are largely responsible for the success of the event. The end result of the combined generosity and hard work by all involved was that $16,000 was deposited into the endowment.
